Health Requirements

All owners must provide proof of current vaccinations prior to entering our facility. The vaccines we require, per vet recommendation, are:

  • Bordatella (kennel cough)
  • Rabies

You may bring a printed hard copy which will remain in our file. It is your responsibility to make sure the records you provide remain up to date for future visits to Agape Acres.

Dogs should be on a monthly topical flea prevention program, such as Advantage or Frontline.

Medications for our Guests

We are happy to accommodate dogs with special needs and will administer your dog’s medication for a nominal fee. Please include written instructions including the name of the medication, the amount to be administered, and how many times per day. If your dog will automatically eat the med, just add it to the individual pre-portioned bag of kibble and no additional fee will be charged.

Safety Requirements

All dogs must wear a collar at Agape Acres and we appreciate your dog being on a leash when you first arrive. We will then change out with one of our leashes while your dog is with us, letting you keep your own leash. Please remember to bring it with you when you pick up your dog.

If you see dogs playing near the drop-off gate when you arrive with your dog, please keep your dog away from the gate until we can clear the area. This will allow your dog’s entrance to proceed quicker and smoother.
